Maple Leafs 3, Canucks 5

Up by 3 heading into the third, they fooled me. For a brief moment, I truly believed we could win a game.
Quite the fool I was. In the words of Roger Daltrey, WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN.
I'm told "major changes" are coming today. In an hour, Brian Burke will hold a press conference. Welcome to Toronto, Jean-Sébastien Giguère!
And sorry Ron Wilson, I'm taking over this team. You suck.

In your face Ron MacLean and HNIC.
I’m was still pissed at the public belittling of Alex Burrows by Ron MacLean , and now after last night , I’m just about ready to hold my breath until I turn blue. That “touch tracker” for the Sedins compared to Burrows was just another means to try and discredit a fine young man and hockey player. I would bet if Alex Burrows was a Leaf he would not be treated like that, in fact, I bet Cherry would be all over Yzerman for not considering him for team Canada. Here is a guy that wasn’t even drafted, makes the team and in short order, he and Kesler become one of the best shut-down lines in hockey. A stroke of luck or genius by the coach and we finally get someone to play with the Sedins. Not since Anson Carter has anyone been able to latch onto their style of play. The guy should be hailed as an inspiration to young Canadian hockey players, so it is just plain unfair to have him bullied by the giant HNIC and that twerp Ron MacLean.
Thanks for the space to rant about my Canucks.
Now onto the Leafs. I see on your blog and Freddie’s, Burke gets a lot of heat about, “what has he ever done” Not only did he recognize then find the missing pieces in Anaheim to win a cup, and leave them with still a bevy of fine young talent; when you look at last night’s game, please keep in mind that most of those players were brought in by Burke. He left our team in very good shape for now and the future. Hang tight Mike; we will meet in the finals one day soon.
