Laura DiBattista vs. Lara Di Battista

citytvIf you thought spelling Mroczkowski was tough, try spelling Lara Di Battista's name.

When I wrote about her leaving Citytv, I spelled her name Lara Di Battista, having seen it spelled that way on a couple of web pages. Her Wikipedia page, however, clearly refers to her as Laura DiBattista.

Does anyone know if it's Laura DiBattista or Lara Di Battista?

To confuse you further, it's actually pronounced "Loda", although she anglicized it over time.

It's Laura
It's pronounced LA-OO-RA, because that is the Italian pronounciation. Every vowel is pronounced in Italian. My friends call me Lori.
I was fired from CITY when they cancelled most of the news shows. It's sad, but I'm keeping busy doing corporate videos on the web.
Cheers!
