halloweenThe pumpkin is carved. Here's what our 2009 Jack O' Lantern looks like.

The kids are happy, so I'm giving myself an A+.

Here are a few other photos from a walk we took earlier today. There are some pretty cool Halloween displays in the neighbourhood this year.

In our driveway we've created a van versus pumpkinman scenario.

Sirius radio has a Hallowe'en channel with spooky music and sound effects that I'm pumping through my boom box outside

Meant to add, you will be able to see it on my blog in little while.

We got sicky little man to make jackolantern faces on paper lunchbags and dropped some sand and tealights in them so he at least felt apart of it all this year.

Did anyone else not see as many treat or treaters out this year in their neighborhood? It might have been just my part of the area because there was an incident and about 6-8 cruisers were parked in front of my house for about an hour but my house only got about 30 kids at most and stopped coming after 9.

Oh wow, ya'll are lucky! Out here there were no decorations, no trick-or-treaters, and no real excitement. Though, there was a large religious push to ignore Halloween, which may have been the culprit.
