No word of a lie -- I live beside the living, breathing and real-life version of Bleeding Gums Murphy. He's the BEST!

Frank Grimes was the best of those. He oozed with terrific dark humour, the likes you don't see much of on TV.

What about Dr Nick from the movie?.

"Bye everybody!"

He came back resurrected in some later TV episodes.

There was also Abe's wife for 5 minutes, can't recall her name.

Are there any other killed of characters?

Marvin Monroe?

Yeah I could goolge it but let's put our useless trivia to use.

Really enjoying the old Tree House of Horrors running on the Comedy Network in the run up to Hallowe'en.

How about Homer? They killed the old Homer and replaced him with a parody of himself. I liked the old Homer better. This one is too stupid.

Aunt Gladys, Hortense, and I forget his name, but he died "on a gray december morn" according to Marge
