Maple Leafs 2, Rangers 7

leafsAdmit it, you're surprised we're this bad. I know I am. I've learnt to lower the bar for this team, but I didn't see this new bottom coming.

This is our 5th loss to start the season. The loss kicks off the worst start for the Leafs, since 1917's 0-3-1 record as the Toronto Arena's. That's right folks, I'm talking about the 1917 Toronto Arena's. That's some newfound futility, y'all.

The toughest part of all this is the fact we can't find a shred of satisfaction in the high draft pick this awfulness will gain us. That belongs to the Bruins, which makes this extra painful.

Big news...

Tyler Bozak and James Reimer have been called up from the Marlies. Reimer will back up Joey Mac tonight. Is Tosky "injured"?

It's guaranteed win night tonight, folks. Bo-ZAK is here!

I dont know who to blame - Burke or Wilson. Burke has given Wilson players who dont want to play for him.

At least we have that 1st round pick in 2010 - um, what's that? Oh yeah we traded it away for an injured player.

lots of new players, relatively new coach and GM, new scouting staff and a new philosophy. it's gonna take time to build a winning team...look at this years bengals...of course i'm not paying $200+ to watch them works out all bugs...
