I'm Officially Unplugged

campingThe car is packed, the kids are psyched and I'm hitting the road. Consider me unplugged.

In the interim, here are the five entries this month that have received the most comments thus far. When you're done resolving these issues, get crackin' on world hunger.

Safe houses for junkies...check. Not because i'm a bleeding heart by any means, its simple economics: the cost of providing junk for addicts is much lower than the social cost of the crime they commit, the cost to police, try, convict and house these people, the cost of HIV related medical care for them, other junkies and anyone unlucky to have their lives intersect with them and also if they are getting heroin off the state, then the money they would have spent getting their score is not going to the drugs trade.

'Colder than most people from Toronto'? Silly Coors not thinking we'd find out about that. Irrelevant - Coorsis shit anyway.

Canadian Healthcare...check. But no system is perfect and there will always be people to exploit the cracks for their own means. Learn to live with it. And be glad you're not from the states.

Radio stations playing the same songs all the time? check. Kim Mitchell on Q107 will play (everyday without fail Pink Floyd's Money and CCR's 'Have you ever seen the rain'. Its starting to become a problem when you start to
dislike the bands you love.

Thats all I got...
