Crazy Town: True One Hit Wonders

MusicWith the death of DJ AM yesterday, people are seeking out his former band's one hit. Crazy Town was an alternative hip-hop ensemble consisting of several artists, including Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein.

"Butterfly" was released back in 2001 and was a massive hit for the band. The contagious groove is courtesy of the Red Hot Chili Peppers as it's their "Pretty Little Ditty" from my favourite RHCP album of all time.

Here's a true one hit wonder, Crazy Town, with their one hit, "Butterfly".

The Pretty Little Ditty part is okay, right?

Pound for pound, is there a worse band? Several members and one radio single.

Reminds me of Dexys Midnight Runners.

Not to suggest Butterfly is as good a tune as Come on Eileen, just that they're both massive ensembles known for one song.

I love this song. That's 2 members from that band deceased now.
