I'm submitting a song for SLS22 consideration. I'm submitting "Crying Lightning" by Arctic Monkeys.
Mississauga Mike wrote me about this new single from the Arctic Monkeys new album Humbug, due out August 25. "It certainly grew on me and you can smell the Josh Homme (QOTSA) production on it, check it out!"

This song is amazing although it did take a few listens for me to fully embrace it..maybe i was expecting something more along the lines of "I BET YOU LOOK GOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR"...something faster..plus all the flamming hype about this pending release..nevertheless still a million times superior to anything a boring band like Green Day could produce...Can't wait for this album August 25th!!
Check out another Brit band which channels the Stone Roses/Primal Scream in a fabulously modern way.
