Premature Awakening

I'm a creature of habit. I awaken at the exact same time every weekday morning. At precisely 7:30, I jump out of bed and into the shower.

This morning, for some inexplicable reason, I forgot I get up every day at 7:30. At 7:05 I leapt out of bed thinking I was actually five minutes behind schedule. After dozens of weeks of knowing I get up at 7:30, I somehow got my wires crossed and was sure I get up at 7.

At least it's Friday.
