One More for the Road (and Argie)

Published January 17, 2009 @ 20:18 in Politics

usaI've already written my final words about Dubya. Here's one more for the road, and regular commenter Argie who unabashedly defends George W. Bush's presidential record because that's his thing.

This is Keith Olbermann on MSNBC summarizing 8 years of Bush in 8 minutes.

Now I really am done.

Keith is great - too bad we can't get his podcast up here in Canada anymore...

Does this mean I have to stop watching one of my favourite videos?

Well Argie where are you?

Mike - Because Olbermann says so doesn't mean its true.

Of course you and the other sheep who derive their opinion from youtube are not going to be swayed by what I write.

How about you actually pick up a book and read it as opposed to believing what you see on the internet or what the E-now or ET is saying at 7pm?

Argie - I'd love to - could you please direct me to which book you speak of?

Lew: Here are a few you could start with:

America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It (Mark Steyn)

Surrender Is Not an Option: Defending America at the United (John Bolton)

The Right Man: An Inside Account of the Bush White House (David Frum)

America Alone is a great book and I like Mark Steyn. I will look for the others.

If only 6 million soldiers died in Iraq, than Bush might be considered a great president like Lincoln (600,000 KIA from a population of 30 million).

Tee, that argument is ridiculous.
