quoteWatching 30 Rock tonight, I just heard special guest star Steve Martin, playing eccentric businessman Gavin Volure, make the following statement.

Toronto is just like New York but without all the scum stuff.

"stuff" not "scum"

It's funny, but I heard "scum"...

Go figure.

So if it's "stuff", it's rather vague and useless as a quote...

I might have to revisit this one on demand on channel 300 to see what he said. I wouldn't have bothered posting the "stuff" quote.

It's a Steve Martin inflection, doesn't really work without him saying it.

Booner,
I saw it. He said "Stuff."
Funny episode. The B story featuring Tracy not wanting to be "Menendezed" by his kids was also good. As was Jack investing Kennith's money and losing it. Very layered show which is why many like and most don't!

I'm only watching two "basic cable" shows right now: 30 Rock and The Office.

30 Rock is super funny. And throw in a Night Court reunion and I'm sold!
