Ringo Would Miss Out On Fab Painting

homerRingo Starr is giving fans until October 20 to send him fan mail, but after that you're S.O.L.

Here's the word from Ringo himself.

If Ringo had done this earlier, he would have missed out on that sweet painting of him by Marge Simpson. In Brush with Greatness we learn that Marge crushed on Ringo and painted several portraits of him, sending one to Ringo himself for an "honest opinion". It took Ringo a while, but he eventually responded.

Dear Marge, thanks for the fab painting of Yours Truly. I hung it on me wall. You're quite an artist. In answer to your question, yes, we do have hamburgers and fries in England. But we call French fries "chips." Love, Ringo. P.S. Forgive the lateness of my reply.

Here's Ringo excitedly opening his fan mail. My, how times have changed!

What a douche. The drugs must have gotten to him.

A douche? Nice talk there Kathleen. It's kind of tongue and cheek don't you think? I think it's funny, he's earned the right to do what he likes. At least he's honest.

He can do whatever he wants! His tone makes him sound like a jerk though. He could have said: "Peace and love everyone, peace and love peace and love, after almost 50 years of receiving fan mail I am worn out, peace and love. I will no longer be answering it after October 20. Peace and love peace and love"
