Here's a true exchange that happened this week.

Pal: I've got good news and bad news...
Me: Yesssss.....
Pal: I'm having difficulty scoring those Sound of Music tix for your ladies.
but.....
Me: Yesssss.....
Pal: I can give you 4th row tix to see the Leafs and Habs at the ACC on a Saturday night in November.

He shoots, he scores!

Okay, no sound of music tickets, and you have a great chance of seeing the Leafs.....Where is there any bad news in that?

Hopefully the tickets for the Leafs are free. I still wouldn't go as I would have to pay for parking & snacks.
The team is just not worth it.
