McCain is committing political suicide.
He is showing all of us that he is incapable of dealing with multiple issues at one time. Sarah Palin his running mate that they talk so highly of is just plain incapable.

The point is McCain arrived in Washington after he ditched Letterman but appeared on another show, spoke at a dinner and met with a former Clinton supporter. He cancelled Letterman and lied about the reason. That's the issue.

Exactly Andrew, Kathleen, McCain didn't go to Washington until the next day! He was in no immediate hurry to leave NY he ditched the show. Hes a jack ass. He just made Letterman his worst nightmare.
