In MemoriumLuc Bourdon was 21. He was a promising rookie defenseman with the Vancouver Canucks who played on the Canadian team that won the gold medal at the 2007 world junior hockey championship in Vancouver and made the tournament's all-star team.

Always sad to see someone over a decade younger than myself have their life cut short like this. Thanks for everything, Luc. RIP.

I was and am a big fan of that kid. I already had him on my keeper fantasy squad. Any life taken at 21 sucks but this one hurts just that little bit more......

I hope they play hockey in heaven.
