2008 Playoff Pool: Day Fourteen
Published April 23, 2008 @ 08:59 in Hockey Playoff Pool
With one round complete, I'm not the only poolie to lose 8 of his 10 players. Mike C. and Gary are in the same boat. On the other end of the spectrum is Alexi who managed to have all 10 of his players advance to round 2. Alexi has some ground to make up, but you can't count him out.
After one round, here's the standings. Please don't laugh at me.
1. Ryan = 50
2. Drew = 49
2. Marc = 49
4. Steve = 47
5. Patino = 43
5. Mike C = 43
7. Pops = 40
8. Alexi = 33
9. Gary = 32
10. Mike B = 23

I chuckle.
It must suck to be out of it so early.
I had a baseball pool once. I had Ryne Sandberg (he retired mid-season), Delgado (who that year was sent back to the minors for bit...I think that is right) and I think (not sure) Griffey when he broke his wrist.
I lost.
