Maple Leafs 4, Thrashers 0

LeafsVesa Toskala is quickly becoming the most popular guy in town. He's been standing on his head lately and the Leafs are playing with renewed confidence. It's a completely different team out there and a pleasure to watch.

In his past seven starts, Toskala is 6-1. What's most impressive is that Toskala has not allowed more than two goals in any game during the seven-game stretch. It's no wonder we haven't seen that other guy between the pipes.

This is fun. A win tonight and I'll officially label this team a potential 8th seed in the East.

Am I reading this correctly? Does Antropov have more points than Mats? Wow! Who woulda thunk it!

Oops.

Speaking of Antropov, I'm thinking he deserves a spot in the all-star game.

Certainly not me. But props to the guy, I hope this is his career turning point.
