Maple Leafs 1, Lightning 2

LeafsIt's deja vu all over again. For the second game in a row, we got burned for a goal with less than a minute to play. This time, we were left with no points to show for a solid effort.

On the bright side, we're losing close games and getting good goaltending. Still, these are points we're going to want when April comes around. Hell, these are points we're going to need.

Current Record  Last Games Season Leaders

Ah... You do realize they were facing a rookie in his first game. A rookie that I heard described as not NHL material by a commentator yesterday. I missed the game but I also heard this morning that the goal that T.O. got was actually an own goal by Tampa. If they can’t pull out a least a point in that situation there is something VERY wrong in leaf land :(

Apparently the secret to defeating the Leafs this year is to play the backup and/or rookie goalies, it's getting a little ridiculous.

Don't even get me started on the OT/Shootout losses...
