That Back To School Sensation

schoolI haven't attended school full time since early 1998. I'm almost a decade removed from school yet I still get that "back to school" feeling at this time of year.

I don't know if it's the cooler nights or the end the CNE or my awareness Labour Day is right around the corner, but I keep fighting this sensation to buy new binders and three hole lined paper. I could probably use a new knapsack, too.

I'm practically excited about going back and starting a new school year with a clean slate. I'm pretty sure I'd kick serious ass in grade seven if I was given another crack at it.

for me it's laurentian pencil crayons. i'd get a new pack at the start of every year and when i see them in the stores i get those "first day of school" butterflies.

but god i love the smell of freshly sharpened pencils.
