Now's the time for Bonds to walk away. If he retires now, he'll be immortalized and completely forgiven by all.

Mike, I thought it would be more special to watch, quite frankly, I felt,so so about it. all the hoopla and the pomp and circumstance leading up to it took away from the actual moment.
Besides the real homerun king is about 8-10 years away.

Actually I think the bigger story on the Mike Boon site should be that the Jays are only 5 out of the wildcard this late in the season and have the best ERA in the majors since the Allstar break.

True, we're only 5 back, but my issue is with us being 5th in the wild card race. We have to leap frog four teams and I don't feel like getting my hopes up right now.

Win this weeks series against the Yanks or sweep it and I start thinking about it.
At the very least they have to win 2/3 this week against the yanks.

It would have been nice if we had swept Tampa Bay. Instead, we lost 2 of 3.
