Not A Honker

Driving home from my ball game tonight, I saw my brother and his family crossing the street. I wanted to get his attention, so I honked my horn.

No big deal, right? Actually, it was. It was the first time I had heard my horn in years. In the eight years I've been driving this car, I'd guess I've hit the horn less than a dozen times in total.

Once in a while I'll get in the car with someone who will use their car horn a dozen times in one trip. They're honking because this guy is too slow or that guy cut them off or someone was a second late accelerating from a stop at a red light.

That's not me. I'm just not a honker.
