There's a whack of people psyched about getting hitched on July 7, 2007. They're all excited about being wed on the 7th day of the 7th month of 2007. 7/7/7, if you will.

I'm pleased to report that I haven't received a single invitation to any wedding being held on that day. I've actually only been to a small handful of weddings in my life, so this is no surprise. I won't have to get dressed up, join in phony baloney pomp and circumstance and fork over coin I don't have so I can enjoy a half decent meal. Thank you, I'll pass.

7/7/7 is okay, but will it really compare to 1/15/96?
