This American Life

Taryn and I have been watching this show called "This American Life" on TMN. It's a Showtime series based on the excellent radio show of the same name. If you've never heard the radio program before, do yourself a favour and download the most recent episode here. Each radio episode is a free MP3 for one week after its airing.

The television program is remarkably good. TMN has aired three episodes thus far, and each one has lingered with me well after the initial viewing. To steal a description from the TMN web site, "each episode will explore a single theme or topic through the unique juxtaposition of first-person storytelling and whimsical narrative, allowing for the show’s distinct and original voice."

I can't wait for the next episode. The only thing that pisses me off is that a program of this quality came out of the USA. Where's my "This Canadian Life"?
