I Need A Better Strategy

hockey Tonight we're drafting our playoff pool teams and I need a better strategy. I've never won, despite having competed every year for over a decade. Well, every year there was a playoffs, anyway.

Which teams should I bank on this year? I always end up loading up on players from good teams that bow out after a round or two. I want my core players playing into the third round. Which teams look good for a long run?

All suggestions are appreciated. You've got six hours. By the way, if you can be at a West Toronto location by 6pm tonight, you're welcome to draft with us. I have bad news for the out-of-towners who wanted to draft remotely. We're going old school and cutting the e-feed this year. Get your ass to the T-Dot and join in the fun... and bring $20.

I think this will be the year of retribution, where we'll see most of the favourites advancing to make up for all the underdogs of the last couple of years. put your money on the favourites, even Ottawa, they'll finally realize their potential.

Name teams! Pick two in the West and two in the East that you envision playing in the conference finals.

It will either be Buffalo, Ottawa or NJ(you can't discount the Brodeur factor) in the east. In the west, I think it's finally Vancouver's turn, Anaheim or Minnesota (if you need a darkhorse).

Go with the proven Playoff Performers, Drury, Broduer, Lidstrom, Even go to the Western Conference with Modano, Naslund, Luongo, Guys you know are there every year. I would make Drury my first pick overall not because Im a Sabres fan but because He has always been since his days with Colorado, All about the playoffs. When these playoffs are over hes going to be standing at the top of the heap. He reminds me so much of Doug Gilmour and may be the closest thing the NHL has left to a guy with the guts and determination of a Dougie G. Chris Drury.
