Danger! Danger! Stay Indoors!

Our fire and police departments are asking us to stay indoors today.

Downed power lines and tree limbs across Toronto wreaked havoc for pedestrians and motorists during Friday morning's commute and were dangerous enough for the city's fire and police services to ask residents to stay inside.
"In the interest of public safety, Toronto Fire Services is advising that people stay indoors," said Capt. Mike Strapko, acting district fire chief.

Apparently, there's a lot of danger out there.  There's ice falling everywhere, trees coming down and that electric wire thing.

I braved the elements and did venture outdoors this morning.  In fact, I'm looking forward to a nice long walk at lunch.  It takes more than a fire and police department warning to keep me inside.
