The First Tooth is the Loosest

familyJames lost his first tooth today. It's been pretty loose for a few weeks now and today it finally fell out.

I can't believe how small this thing is. It's been a while since I saw a baby tooth outside of a mouth. I just hope the Tooth Fairy is able to successfully retrieve this minuscule incisor from beneath the pillow because I hear it's worth a couple of bucks.

The 1st tooth reap's the rewards (not a toonie at least half a sawbuck - $ 5.00.)As more teeth are lost the $ depreciates. 1 of the twins never lost teeth (dentist pulled them & braces afterwords). Still got his coin but less.

Another milestone in your sons development.
I remember how excited my daughters were when they found out that one of their baby teeth were loose and it was going to come out soon. I couldn't help but feel a short twinge of sadness but then I felt happy for them. "Wow, my baby is truly growing up.."
Oddly enough, I have saved all their teeth. I'm not sure what my plan is.

I should point out that the hand holding the tooth belongs to James. It looks like he just had a fight with a few magic markers.
