Canadians Who Have Played For The Blue Jays
Published December 7, 2006 @ 09:09 in Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays signed Matt Stairs yesterday to a one year contract. Stairs, who was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, will become the thirteenth Canadian to suit up for the Jays.
Here are the first twelve.
- Dave McKay
- Paul Hodgson
- Rob Ducey
- Denis Boucher
- Vince Horsman
- Rob Butler
- Paul Spoljaric
- Paul Quantrill
- Rich Butler
- Steve Sinclair
- Simon Pond
- Corey Koskie
My favourites on that list were Rob Ducey, Rob Butler, Paul Spoljaric and Paul Quantrill. It's a shame we never landed Larry Walker.

I have Rob Duceys Autograph on a 1989 Topps card I always rooted for him. Im not canadian but the JAys are my favorite team and I always rooted for the Canadian Players. ITs a shame that Koskie didnt last longer in Toronto.
