The Kortright Centre

OntarioMother Nature came through today with a gorgeous day so we spent it at The Kortright Centre, a conservation park in in Woodbridge, Ontario.

It's only minutes from the city, but while you're hiking the trails you feel as though you're away from it all. Everyone had a blast and I've got the Flickr photoset to prove it. The Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival was wrapping up and there were syrup making demonstrations and activities galore. There was also a wagon ride, picnic, frog and turtle sightings and enough fresh air to successfully knock all four of us into submission.

Oh yeah, and don't forget to conserve.... to the extreme!

Yeah, getting out once the snow has melted is a total priority for me. I especially like going up to Cypress Lake on the Bruce Peninsula. If you have not gone there its really worthwhile. Mick www.greencanuck.net/rockhound

Thanks for posting this article. I'm unquestionably frustrated with struggling to search out pertinent and rational comment on this subject. Everybody nowadays goes to the very far extremes to either drive home their viewpoint that either: everyone else in the planet is wrong, or two that everyone but them does not really understand the situation. Many thanks for your concise, applicable insight.
