Maple Leafs 7, Sabres 0

LeafsJean-Sebastien Aubin made 24 saves for his first shutout of the season and is now 3-0 as a Leaf. Last January 15, on James' 3rd birthday, I wrote this entry about the St. John's Maple Leafs big win over the Grand Rapids Griffins. In that entry, I wrote the following.

Perhaps Mikael Tellqvist isn't our NHL goalie of the future. Perhaps it's Jean-Sebastien Aubin. Aubin has been awesome since coming over in a trade with Pittsburgh and last night he stopped 47 shots to lead the St. John's Maple Leafs to a 3-2 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins.

How bad was it for Buffalo? Even the great under achiever of our time, Nik Antropov, managed to score a couple. Sadly, it's far too late.
