Lord of the I Don't Care

Thumbs DownEverybody's talking about The Lord of the Rings, currently showing at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Apparently it's a big deal, despite some mediocre reviews. It would be nearly impossible for me to care any less about this production than I do right now.

If somebody handed me a free ticket to tonight's show I'd refuse to go. Hell, you couldn't pay me to sit through 3.5 hour so LOTR on stage. Of course, I never got it, so maybe it's just me.

This I agree with you. You are not the only one who isn't into this Lord of the Rings craze. I think it's a very long and boring movie too. I only watched the second one but didn't really finish it cause I felt asleep watching it. I don't understand why people are so into it. First, it's the movies then a threatical production. I wonder what will be next?

Absolutely. I saw the first movie and thought it was too long and boring. The action scenes weren't all that exciting, and too few and far between. And the characters and their relationships weren't interesting.

I liked the movies the first time around, but now I just skip right to the battle scenes if I feel like watching them.

I still don't understand why exactly they had to bring it to the stage.
