The CBC and the Six O'Clock Game

CBCFor the second time in as many days, the CBC has messed me up with their scheduling. First they threw that extra zero in the mix and now I tuned in the Leafs game at 18:40 only to find out it's in the first intermission.

Let me get this straight, for a billion Saturdays in a row "Hockey Night In Canada" begins at 19:00 but tonight it starts at 18:00. Nobody told me. Luckily, the only goal I missed was scored by Jaromir Jagr.

I managed to catch Don Cherry on Coach's Corner and he gave an impassioned speech chastising all who have condemned The Great One. Listening to him pontificate reminded me a great deal of my entry from earlier today. Grapes and I agree on this one. The way we've treated Wayne Gretzky this week is a crying shame.
