An awesome display the last 2 weeks from OUR Canadian women & men at the 2006 olympics in Turino. It's too bad the 1 medal we all were counting on didn't even come close. Cdn. hockey (Men's) must take a different perspective next time in Vancouver in 2010. Congrats to all competitors on a job well done - I'm proud to be a Canadian. More will be expected in 2010 - we have to step it up.

You're absolutely right. Before these games began, the COC went public with a goal of 25 medals. With another big day today, we're at a Canadian record 24. We should all be very proud of the men and women representing us in Turin. They did one hell of a job.
2010 should be something special. It's the year we make contact, and lead the world in Olympic medals.
