Anyone is welcome to submit a Guest Blog Entry to MikeBoon.com. I received the following entry earlier today.
So the final squad of players have been selected for Turin. I wasn't really shocked about the selection except for - Todd Bertuzzi & Shane Doan (and I am a fan of Doan). I think someone like Shannahan should have been there, even Stall & Spezza were deserving of automatic choice. What about Brendan Morrison or Michael Ryder? I would have gone for those two or atleast one in the list. Anyway, I'm just a lone hockey fan from India - but I will be screaming for team Canada all the way. Oh and my Sens beat the Maple Leafs 8-2. 16 goals in two games against the same team? Nice!!
Morrison and Ryder are fine players, but Team Canada is so strong there isn't room for everyone. No Shanahan, no Kariya, no Brewer... no room! I keep having this wonderful day dream in which we're allowed to field two teams in the Olympics. Both would be sensational.
