Bob Denver was 70. His portrayal of goofy castaway Gilligan on the 1960s TV show "Gilligan's Island," made him an iconic figure to generations of TV viewers.
As an adult, "Gilligan's Island" was painful to watch, but as a kid I thought it was pure gold. Good bye little buddy.
