EST vs. EDT

Published by Toronto Mike on September 16, 2005 @ 11:59 in

CalendarI just corrected a glaring error on this site. I've been time stamping every entry with the current Toronto time and using the abbreviation EST. EST stands for Eastern Standard Time, but Eastern Standard Time is replaced by Eastern Daylight Time in early April until late October. Whenever I use EST during these summer months I'm erring.

I've fixed the mistake throughout the site. It's currently EDT. Please accept my humblest apologies for my inadvertent spread of misinformation.

Jesus christ, I was wondering when you would fix this most glaring and aggrievous error. I will accept your humble apologies this time, but be forewarned, you risk alienating your fanbase if such ignorance persists!

I'm glad you know Jesus Christ well enough to use his name in vain. Hope to see you in Heaven some day.
