Terri Schiavo's Autopsy

"The brain weighed 615 grams, roughly half of the expected weight of a human brain. This damage was irreversible, and no amount of therapy or treatment would have regenerated the massive loss of neurons."
That statement from Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner Jon Thogmartin accompanied Terri Shiavo's autopsy results, released today. It's what we suspected and why she was allowed to die.
May she finally be able to rest in peace.
