Over a week ago, I put the winter jacket away for the season. I put it away not to be seen again until October 2005 at the earliest.
Things went well throughout the week. Jacketless Mike happily strolled about in spring-like temperatures. Then, jacketless Mike got a rude awakening.
We were hit with a strange blend of snow and rain all weekend long. A sensible person would get the jacket out of the closet. I refused to do the sensible thing and will remain jacketless until October 2005 at the earliest. Some might say I'm being an idiot (some have), but I can't help it. It's just the way I'm wired.
