The New VR

I've poked fun at The New VR before. For over a decade this station out of Barrie has been calling itself new. The statute of limitations on "new" ran out a long, long time ago.

Apparently, parent company CHUM Television has grown tired of the New VR jokes. They plan to rebrand all of their Southern Ontario "New" stations as A-Channels for the Fall 2005 television season.

I'm going to miss the New VR. Who am I kidding? The New VR sucks no matter what they call it. I don't watch it as The New VR and I won't watch it as an A-Channel.
