It's A Good Life If You Don't Fact Check

A Newspaper

Last week it was the Calgary Herald that screwed up and this time it's the Calgary Sun.

I was reading this article from the Calgary Sun about yesterday's Canada for Asia benefit concert.  Sarah Kennedy writes the following sentence about The Tragically Hip's contribution.

The Tragically Hip played a song from their new album called It's a Good Life if You Don't Weaken, but frontman Gord Downie adopted a more sombre tone, cutting back on his trademark gesticulations.

Do Calgary newspapers fact check at all before going to print?  Perhaps she should have consulted me before mis-representing the hauntingly beautiful "It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken".  It's not from their new album.  It's from In Violet Light, a couple of albums back.
