Big Wheels I finally found some time to enjoy The Simpsons Season Four on DVD this weekend. I always watch every episode first with the commentary so I can learn all the interesting "behind the scenes" stories from my favourite show.

Among the several episodes I watched yesterday was "Lisa's First Word" in which we see Bart as a toddler. There is a scene in which Bart is riding his Big Wheel. When my brothers and I were growing up in the 80s, it was all about the Big Wheel. Everybody had one of these big plastic tricycle-type toys. My brother Stephen seemed permanently attached to his.

What happened to the Big Wheel? I suppose kids today have more exciting things to do with their leisure time. We sure didn't. I'm going to scour the earth and hunt down a big ol' colourful Big Wheel for James. Screw the X-Box, the Big Wheel is the way to go.
