I can get behind this Calgary team. If you exclude my Toronto Maple Leafs, I'm a fan of Canadian-based teams. Having said that, I can't root for the Ottawa Senators because I can't stand them. Rooting for the Montreal Canadiens is difficult too because they are our historical rivals. That leaves me with the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames.
With the Flames up 2-0 and heading for home, it looks good I'll have a rooting interest in the Stanley Cup finals. Marc drafted the only Calgary player, and he's now sitting pretty in a tie for second.
