I was shocked to learn "The Drew Carey Show" was still on the air. I was sure it had been cancelled a couple of years ago. I actually used to like The Drew Carey Show. In the mid to late 90s, I watched it regularly. Then, almost overnight, it stopped being funny. I haven't seen an episode since the last millennium.

New episodes will premiere on June 2nd and ABC will show two first-run episodes a week during the summer. This is the ninth and final year for the show.

Drew Carey goes gently into that good night. I only wish I could say the same for "Friends".
