Yesterday, over 27 months after his birth, a lock of James' hair met scissors for the first time. Seeing that strands of hair were dangling over his eyes while he played, I realized he needed his bangs trimmed just a little. Out came the scissors and off came a centimetre or two above the eyes.
James has very cool hair. It's a little curly but not too curly and so far it's a neat dirty blonde. He's part surfer dude, part Kurt Cobain. It hurt me cut even a single strand, but as they say, the first cut is the deepest.
