Maple Leafs 2, Penguins 3

Reality check. Tied for the division lead and within a few points of the conference lead at this point in the season, you have to defeat the last place team in the conference when playing on your home ice. Am I right? The Maple Leafs stunk last night. To quote a description I heard on the radio this morning, the blue and white "floated a turd".
The Leafs were healthy and had newly acquired Ron Francis in the lineup, but steady Eddie Belfour rested his back giving Trevor Kidd his first start in eleven games. He looked shaky, allowing the three goals on only 17 shots. Our hopes for Lord Stanley's Mug continue to rest on the 38 year old shoulders of Mr. Belfour.
