500 Greatest Albums of All Time

Top 500 albums of all time

Rolling Stone magazine has just listed what they consider to be the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.  Lets take a close look specifically at their top 100, shall we?

Rolling Stone likes The Beatles.  The four mop-tops from England account for eight albums in the top 100, including four of the top ten.  John Lennon on his own accounts for another couple.  Canadian content is well represented with Joni Mitchell coming in at #30, The Band at #34 and #45 and Neil Young at #71 and #78.  As for albums from artists in my personal top 10, you'll find Nirvana at #17, Public Enemy at #48 and Guns n' Roses at #61.
