Maple Leafs 2, Thrashers 3

There is no excuse for failing to preserve a 2-0 lead with less than 9 minutes remaining. This is especially true when you're playing at home with a veteran-laden line-up. With two goals in a twenty-two second span in the third, the young Thrashers managed to force overtime where they would eventually win during some extremely rare 3 on 3 action.
The unlikely offensive hero on the night was Tom Fitzgerald who scored a goal and an assist and had several other chances. On the negative side of the spectrum, Nik Antropov left with a separated shoulder and is out of action indefinitely.
